UW Tacoma COVID-19 Emergency Student Fund
Since early March, an unprecedented number of UW Tacoma students have begun experiencing the negative economic ripple effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of our students work full-time or are raising families while they pursue their education. As this crisis escalates, our student body collectively faces significant financial hardship that may prevent many in our campus community from completing their degrees.
Currently, we are able to offer an average award of $650 to each qualified student. But our resources are limited, and the student needs are much greater than our existing funds. Student households need between $1,500 and $2,500 per month to cover the basic costs of living.

The UW Tacoma COVID-19 Emergency Student Support Fund provides unrestricted resources to undergraduate and graduate UWT students who are experiencing financial hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. You can help bring relief to these students and prevent the disruption of their education.
