UW Bothell COVID-19 Emergency Student Fund

Our campus community is facing an unprecedented number of students with immediate financial need. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its ripple effects, many UW Bothell students and their families find themselves in immensely challenging circumstances.

So far this spring quarter, the number of requests for student emergency aid has tripled. Many have lost the jobs and income they rely on to cover their UW education and living expenses. Others face immediate food and housing insecurities or personal and family health crises. While we are working hard to support our students, we anticipate this level of need to increase in the months to come.

When you give today, you will also be joining the Huskies Helping Huskies Challenge which was recently launched with a collective gift of $20,000 from a few generous donors. Every contribution brings us closer to our goal of 250 donors by June 30th.

The UW Bothell COVID-19 Emergency Student Fund provides unrestricted resources to students who are experiencing financial hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. You can help bring relief to these students and prevent the disruption of their education.

Your gift today will help provide the following necessities for students in need:

  • Tuition, books and supplies
  • Housing and living expenses
  • Technology for virtual learning
  • Child care
  • Unanticipated medical cost

Your support will make all the difference.
