A Message from Dentistry Students
The School of Dentistry is grateful for your support during this challenging time. Your gift to the Dentistry COVID-19 Emergency Student Fund is going directly to our dental students who are facing extreme financial hardship as a result of the pandemic.
Below are messages of thanks from some of the students:
I really appreciate you and the School for the emergency funds that I have been provided with. With my husband being unemployed due to COVID-19 and with my baby on the way, we have been in need of funds to prepare for our upcoming increased financial responsibilities. The funds have really helped us in that regard. Thanks once again.
Sincerely,
Hira

Thank you so much. This is will be really helpful. The funds truly temporarily relieved some part of my stress on making ends meet and helped me being not so distracted by worries from school work, which should be the most important thing for me.
Thank you again for the help.

I am currently on a student visa. I had trouble getting necessary funds back from my home country due to the lock down situation there and this fund helped me through these tough times to get my basic needs. I was partially able to pay my bills the last month. I am greatly thankful how generous the School Alumni are stepping forward to help those in need during these tough times.
Thank you again for all the support and generosity.

For the past few months my family has been directly affected by the Covid-19 situation. Thanks to the resources made available to us through the SOD Emergency funds we have been able to be more at ease and less stress out about the financial burden of these times. Also, this allows me to concentrate in school without distractions.
Thank you for your support to the UW students!
Regards,
Elhaine
