Business Leaders of Faith (BLF) is a student-run organization created to form a community of Christians interested in promoting the unity and discovery of navigating faith in the workplace. In addition to supporting the education of students connecting their faith in Christ to work, BLF seeks to connect students to like-minded business professionals and leaders in the Greater Seattle Area and beyond.
WHAT WE DO
Founded in spring of 2018 by two students on campus, including current president André Magallanes, BLF has hosted community service events, community conversations, and 11 speaker events.
With incredible guests such as Jamie Winship, Krista Hengesh, and Pete Shimer (current COO and former CFO of Deloitte), our students have had the opportunity to engage in conversation with leaders from the industry to better understand their faith and work journey.
Create a space for conversation about faith in the workplace.
Build a community of students pursuing faith and purpose together.
Change the culture of UW by redefining the meaning of success.
WHAT WE NEED
We are fundraising because we need your support to help fund our organization for this year and the years to come. Since our founding, our executive team has invested their own funds into the club as a commitment to the vision we have for BLF.
Your support will make a lasting impact in sustaining and expanding the capabilities we have to develop a community of young Christian professionals.
Funds go towards necessary expenses into three main categories: marketing, community building, and speaker events. Your support will help in bringing in speakers, supplying our marketing materials, and sending our members to attend conferences such as C3 leaders.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Join with us financially to support our vision! Your donations will directly impact our ability to continue running as an organization and empower students of faith from campus into the professional world. Thank you for joining us in this journey!
