Thank you and an update from Seattle
Dear family, friends, and UW Drama community,
We finished our campaign last night having reached 110% of our initial goal. Thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your tremendous support in the last month.
As most of you know, things have escalated quickly in Seattle and across the country in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This has put many of our career launch activities in limbo. For those who were planning to attend our Showcase events in Seattle and LA and our solo shows in Seattle, we will share updates (cancellations or postponements) as decisions are made. This is not how we wanted to finish our time at UW and our disappointment is profound.
As difficult as this situation is, we want you to know how comforting it is to know that we have a community like you on our side. It is reassuring to know that we have the resources we need to see us through this time of uncertainty and to adapt our plans. It is likely that we will be taking an online approach, and these funds will help us film and market our new launch. We are taking some deep breaths today, focusing on taking things one day at a time, and actively practicing gratitude for our support systems.

GOAL!
WOW! We are blown away. Because of friends, mentors, and family like you, we made it to our initial goal of 7.5K - in just over one week. WOW! Thank you for supporting us and making our dreams come true.
If you have not had a chance to give, or wish to further your gift, here’s your chance! We have a stretch goal of $9,000 - and 21 days in which to make it happen.
This crowdfunding campaign covers just a piece of the total cost of our career entry activities - the School of Drama relies on a number of fundraising efforts and generous donors to cover ALL the things. If you can help us blow our increased goal out of the water, here’s where the $$$ goes:
$8K = $1.6K x 5 in stipends for airfare, lodging, Ubers, hair/makeup/nails, food, and everything else for our industry introductions in LA and Seattle.
+ $1K begins to underwrite venue rentals, catering, reels, headshots, workshops, invitations, programs, and a plethora of other important and costly things.
