Your Washington Huskies spent this past President's Day Weekend in the mostly sunny Santa Barbara, California for the annual Santa Barbara Shootout!

The team had the opportunity to play teams from all over the world including USC, UCSB, University of Minnesota, and Doshisha University from Kyoto, Japan. UW came out on top over the USC Trojans and while facing close losses in the other games,  every game exemplified the great diversity and talent the UW Huskies have. The team definitely left the tournament feeling proud of all that was accomplished. 

Aside from game time, your Dawgs had a great time soaking in the sun on the beach, going out to eat, and hanging out in the hotel pool and hot tub. Some people even got to spend time with the horses that are stabled at the tournament venue. It was most definitely an unforgettable weekend and the team cannot wait to return next year!

Your UW Dawgs have been having a great start to their season with an undefeated 4-0 record. 

January began with a team retreat that created lasting memories and made a group connection that shows on and off the field.

Last weekend UW travelled north to Bellingham to play games versus Western Washington University, Oregon State University (16-15), and University of Oregon (11-8). 

Yesterday, the Huskies played against Western Washington University again. The day began mildly cold and windy, but as the game progressed, it began snowing! Playing conditions were tough. Frozen hands, iced cleats, and sleet in everyone's eyes made it difficult, but the UW Women's Lacrosse Team came out victorious ending the game 15-10.

We have had a wonderful amount of support from friends and family and we are so grateful for you all! We hope you take the time to consider donating and rooting for our team to make it to regionals!
