As a working actor, the greatest obstacle is "getting in the room." This tour offers us a unique opportunity for streamlined exposure. We can carry these professional connections into the launch of our careers, allowing us to flex our skills in a network of acquaintances, not strangers. Your contribution means that you will not only be investing in actors, you will be investing in artists who will change the future of the industry.
In Seattle, our showcase will be held in the Glenn Hughes Penthouse Theater, the oldest theatre-in-the-round in the country. We will perform in front of our home crowd: Seattle theatre artists and industry professionals from Seattle Repertory Theatre, Intiman Theatre, ACT - A Contemporary Theatre, and Seattle Shakespeare Company, just to name a few.
In LA, we have the pleasure of sharing the stage for the 16th time with The Juilliard School's graduating class at the Colony Theatre. After the performance, we have the opportunity to meet and greet casting directors from networks like ABC, CBS, and NBC, and giants like Disney, HBO, and Showtime. Also, we will see the sun for the first time in 3 years.
In addition, we are bringing New York casting agents and other industry professionals to us for a unique, hands-on workshop experience, and we are creating film and voice over reels that will continue to help us get in the room long after we have graduated.
Join us as we expand our network, and donate to our journey as we hit the pavement and learn what it is to live the life of the working actor.
